The Secret

Using found material and sound as a guiding force, this show plays with themes surrounding the relationship between intimacy and technology. Using hobby motors, each sculpture in this show performs a three minute mechanized action. Spotlit by themselves, the viewer is given a specific amount of time to engage with the work before it’s no longer available in light. The only work that remains on throughout all gallery hours is 'The Secret,' a kinetic work that's contents are only accessible through a viewfinder.

Each show was concluded by a song sung by the artist. Displayed below are the lyrics.
